Customer want upgrade firmware from 6.2.1.1 to the last one. which steps must he take. Can he upgrad in one step from 6.2.1.1 to the last one?

The release notes always contain information about the prerequisites for the update. Here are the release notes of 6.6.9.1

On page 6 you will find
Prerequisites
IMPORTANT: If your controller is not already running Version 5.7.5.0 or 6.0.3.0 or later, a two-step
upgrade must be performed. First upgrade your controller to Version 5.7.5.0 or 6.2.1.1, and then as
a second step, upgrade the controller to V6.6.9.1.
Since your controller is already running 6.2.1.1 it is possible to install directly the latest version 6.6.9.1 (of course if you have a SW support contract)

If I am assuming that the APs are running in autonomous mode:
In the main menu of the AP GUI go to VSC (Virtual Service Communities). You should see a list of all configured SSIDs. Klick on the name of the SSID you want to disable. A menu with the title Add/Edit Virtual Service Community will be opened. In this menu search for the sub-menu "Virtual AP" and remove the checkmark from the check box, This will disable the SSID.
If you want to remove the SSID configuration completely at the botton of the menu there should be a delete button,

In controlled mode it is slighly different because here you have the concept of AP groups and more steps may be needed. I will not go into detail but I think disabling the Virtual AP will do the same.

Hello,
Probably the web server of the AP with this version still supports SSLv3 which is not supported by the latest versions of the browsers. If your browser allows you to enable SSLv3 you can test by enabling it.
Another option is to use an old browser version. You can search for Opera 9.20. In the config settings of Opera search for "OCSP Validate Certificates" and uncheck it. With this settings you should be able to open the GUI and possibly make and update if SW support is available.

Chromecast Audio / MSM422
I have an MSM422 AP and I am trying to set up a Google Chromecast Audio device. The chromecast setup keeps failing saying I must disable AP isolation on my wi-fi router.
On the VSC page I have Allow Traffic between all wireless clients selected.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I am running out of ideas.

New MSM760 stuck at "System Booting", unable to contact through console
I just got an MSM760 off eBay, seller claimed it was brand new and it came with sealed licenses and looks new so I have no reason to doubt that.
When I plug in the unit it says "HP ProCurve System Booting" and after ~2 seconds the display is backlit.
Then it stays that way, I've had it plugged in for over 1 hour and nothing else happens. (I have power cycled it multiple times by now.)
I have tried to connect through the console, (using screen(1) on a MacBook Pro running macOS 10.14.5 and iTerm2 3.2.9:
screen /dev/tty.usbserial-1410 9600
same devices works for connecting to my ProCurve switches, so there's nothing wrong with the cable, USB-adapter or the laptop.)
When connecting an ethernet cable to either port, it lights up properly, but I'm unable to reach the controller on 192.168.1.1 (either port).
Any suggestions? Is it possible to factory reset the device without accessing it through a terminal?

Nobody, huh? Well, I dug up an old hp laptop running OpenBSD, but no luck there either.
I have ordered another one from another seller on eBay and commenced returning the faulty one.

MSM720 - Wireless detected but the radio/icon wireless access not display
My wireless connected but indicates the status of wireless services on the AP not display. I appreciate if someone could help me to solve this problem.

I have the firmware version 6.2.1.1-18016 as well. However, I am getting the error, "Firmware upgrade aborted because the new firmware is for another hardware platform. Restarting with previous version. (8)" when I try to upgrade. Any suggestions?

This entitlement does not exist Error
I need to add my serial numbers and product numbers to my profile so I can download drivers. Our contract is ACTIVE. Everything is active. I get the entitlement does not exist message. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! ANy help?

MSM760 controllers are end of sales since 2017
This means that all the accessories are also end of sales. You can try with authorized HPE partners but I would expect that the licenses are not for sale any longer.

Some MyNetworking Accounts will be migrated to Aruba Support Portal (ASP) Here you can read more about it altough it maybe outdated.

As far as I know migrated accouts should see a message in orange in MyNetworking informing them that the account was migrated to ASP. Clicking on hyperlink Aruba Support Portal (ASP) will redirect to ASP and you have to follow the steps to activate the ASP account.

Need a .cim.startup for my MSM422 AP
Unfortunately I had an Oops moment with my MSM422 and flashed too new of firmware on it. I can ping it and I know it is in bootload mode. Could anyone possibly share a .cim.startup file for my MSM422 so I can recover it?

shouldn't the cim.startup file [*] for HP MSM422 AP be available through (any) HP MSM software release (downloadable if you have a valid active product support)?
